The Romanian Consortium of Applied Mathematics in Industry (RoCAMI)
was founded in 2016 by a group of researchers who freely consented to collaborate
and to promote the mathematics to solve real world problems.
Structure
The Romanian Consortium of Applied Mathematics in Industry (RoCAMI) consists
in several working groups current member groups and a staff current staff.
The working groups are autonomous units being the only entities able to develop
a contractual research activity.
The staff assures the communication between member groups of the consortium and facilitates the circulation of the information from the RoCAMI network to the external world.
By no means one can interpret the staff as a command entity.
A new group can affiliate to RoCAMI after the acceptance of all RoCAMI members.
Mission
Our main objectives are:
to facilitate the transfer of mathematical knowledge from academia to the society;
to help the industrial companies to develop inovative technolgies by using
cutting-edge mathematical modeling techniques;
to offer a supervised learning to the students in the field of applied mathematics
